Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNA) Mohammad Noor A Alam said 157 passengers stranded in India till this afternoon have entered Bangladesh. Home quarantine of each of them is being ensured.

The home quarantine of the first 36 passengers who returned on May 16 has ended. Re-examining their corona, the result was negative.

UNO Mohammad Noor A Alam further said, “As it is a border Upazila, we have already taken a strict stand to ensure hygiene to the people.”

The mobile campaign continues. Strict hygiene guidelines have also been issued in the port area.
