The Orlando Magic will be returning home after a three-game road trip. They will square off against the Boston Celtics at 7 p.m. ET Wednesday at Amway Center. The Magic have been on the wrong side of a one-way rivalry with Boston and are hoping to record their first victory since April 7 of 2019.

While not quite a landslide, the game between Orlando and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday was still a pretty decisive one as Orlando wrapped it up with a 115-97 win on the road. Orlando can attribute much of their success to point guard Cole Anthony, who shot 6-for-11 from beyond the arc and finished with 31 points, eight dimes and nine boards, and small forward Franz Wagner, who shot 5-for-9 from downtown and finished with 28 points.

Meanwhile, Boston lost to the Chicago Bulls at home by a decisive 128-114 margin. The Celtics were up 103-89 at the end of the third quarter but couldn’t hold on to the lead. Boston’s defeat came about despite a quality game from small forward Jaylen Brown, who shot 5-for-8 from beyond the arc and finished with 28 points and seven rebounds.

The Magic are expected to lose this next one by 7. Those who got lucky with them against the spread on Monday might want to hold off on placing bets this time since the squad has yet to string together back-to-back wins against the spread.

Orlando’s win lifted them to 2-6 while Boston’s loss dropped them down to 2-5. Allowing an average of 119.71 points per game, the Celtics haven’t exactly asserted themselves on the defensive end. We’ll see if they can patch up the holes in their defense before their upcoming matchup.
