After passing the verification process, you’ll have to give an aptitude test. This test helps Canadian army officials to decide which army occupation is the best fit for you. The test will not be very difficult but make sure that you are careful with your answers, on time, and take 8-hour sleep at night so you can perform well.
The aptitude test consists of verbal skills and problem-solving questions and it will take 60 minutes to complete the aptitude test. You may also go through a personality assessment test to know about your personality and characteristics.
After the aptitude test, you’ll have to give your medical test. The medical test consists of two parts. In the first part, you will be asked some questions regarding your medical history and then the army medical staff will take your physical exam to measure your height, weight, vision, and hearing.
In the second step, the medical staff will review your medical file to conclude that you are fit for training or not.
The interview is the final and most important step. It is your official job interview so answer all your questions professionally. The military career counselor will take your interview and you’ll be asked questions regarding your work history, military ethics, the basic question on the Canadian army, and the reason why you want to join the army.
After passing these five steps, you will be sent for training. The basic training will teach you about the skills and knowledge to live in a military environment.
